On August 29, the reporter learned from Yichang Municipal Public Security Bureau that since September 1, for the convenience of citizens, Yichang will implement five measures issued by Ministry of Public Security such as the mainland residents who can apply for changing (filling) the exit-entry certificate in the whole country, and the process of applying certificate will be finished within 7 working days.

　　The five new measures are as follows: mainland residents can apply for changing (replacement of) ordinary passports, travel passes for Hong Kong and Macao and travel passes for Taiwan atany public security exit-entry administration organsacross the country; Mainland residents can apply group tour endorsement of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan at any public security exit-entry administration organs across the country. The time limit for mainland residents to apply for ordinary passports, travel passes of Hong Kong and Macao, and travel passes of Taiwan has been shortened to 7 working days. The exit and entry administrative organs of the public security provide convenience for immediate acceptance and approval of foreign nationals who lose their passports and are in urgent need of obtaining visas to leave the country. International voyages vessels or their agents can declare entry and exit border inspection procedures online.

　　According to the introduction, in January and April this year, Yichang Exit-Entry Administration Bureau set off public security mobile police platform cars in Yiling Square and constructed a 24-hour self-service visa center in the first-floor hall of the Yichang Municipal Government Affairs Service Center, providing the public with 24-hour self-service group tours endorsement service of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
