2018-09-10 10:13:15

Since August 31, the CBD traffic flow has changed. The traffic police brigade of Xiling District will take the ways of pavement patrol and electronic snapshot to strictly control the traffic of CBD area and standardize the traffic order around CBD Commercial Street.

According to reports, during the holidays, people flow and traffic at the CBD area rise sharply. The access passageway is congested. It is also difficult to find a parking place in the parking lots. In order to regulate the traffic order around CBD Commercial Street, the traffic police brigade of Xiling District adjusted the CBD traffic flow and strengthened the traffic order supervision.

Through the on-the-spot investigation and communication by the police, the Xiling traffic police brigade adjusted the traffic flow of the entrances and exits of two underground garages on Hengji Road. Vehicles driving out of the CBD underground garage exit are only allowed to turn right towards Yiling Avenue and they are forbidden to turn left at the exit. The entrance of Hengji Road in the underground parking lot of Grand Ocean only allows vehicles to enter, and vehicles are forbidden to drive out from here. All vehicles drive out through the exit of Xiling No.2 Road.

The operation order of the booths on Hengji Road has been standardized. All the booths occupying the motor vehicle lanes of the Hengji Road have been evacuated from the motor vehicle lanes. The booths near the side of CBD are all moved to the sidewalk, and the booths near the side of Grand Ocean (including the kiosk) are all moved to the sidewalk and 1m away from the sidewalk.

The traffic signs and markings on Hengji Road are re-assigned. The double-yellow solid line is marked in the middle of the road to prohibit from crossing; the yellow no-parking line is marked on both sides of the road to prohibit vehicles from parking; the 1 meter line is marked on the sidewalk, and all the booths must be placed outside the 1 meter line. No-parking signs are added to Hengji Road and Hanyi Road.

At present, the relevant departments have installed monitoring probes on Hengji Road to ensure that there is no dead angle in the monitoring of Hengji Road. (Reporter: Gong Changjun; Feng Ting; Correspondent: Wang Zhengyu)
