Since the beginning of this year, the construction of logistics projects in our city has presented a competing and prosperous situation. It is learned on September 3 from the Municipal Logistics Bureau that from January to August, the city's investment on logistics projects included in Hubei Province's traffic fixed asset investment statistical range has reached 1.56 billion yuan, accounting for 182% and 78% of the provincial and municipal annual investment targets respectively, and the investment progress ranks in the forefront of the province.

　　At present, the city has built 11 logistics parks and another 5 are under construction and still other 20 in their early phase, with an accumulated investment of 7.092 billion yuan. So far, 660 logistics enterprises and 3,400 commercial enterprises have entered the parks. Eight county-level logistics nodes have been built, 66 rural comprehensive service stations and 803 village-level service points have been newly renovated. It is learned from the person in charge of the Municipal Logistics Bureau that according to the industrial layout and the progress of the “13th Five-Year”logistics projects, the city has identified 18 key projects through medium-term adjustment, with a planned investment of 7.338 billion yuan, an increase of 37.9%; and 9 new major logistics projects have been planned, with an estimated total investment of 10 billion yuan. In the next step, the city will continue to do a good job of the construction of the logistics projects, ensuring that the annual investment in fixed assets of logistics will reach 2 billion yuan, and a new county-level logistics center will be built, 10 township rural comprehensive service stations and 200 rural logistics service points at the village level will be set up or renovated.
