On the morning of September 9, two Yichang tour buses full of tourists drove out from the Three Gorges Visitor Center and went straight to visit Taiqing Cave, Mingfeng Mountain and Wuling Gorges Throat scenic spots in Yuan’an County, which marked the official opening of the “Through Train of Yichang-Yuan’an Scenic Spot”.

　　The opening of the through train of Yuan’an Scenic Spot is another major tourism initiative for benefiting people which is jointly carried out by Yichang Transportation Group and Yuan’an County. The through train departs from the Three Gorges Visitor Center at 8:00 every day. The route currently includes: Mingfeng Mountain, one-day tour of Wuling Gorges Throat, Taiqing Cave, one-day tour of Mingfeng Mountain, Taiqing Cave, one-day tour of Jinjiawan. Major travel agencies in Yichang can sign up for consultation.

　　According to reports, Yuan’an is the hometown of Leizu,the mother of the Chinese nation,and the birthplace of Chu culture. There are Jinjiawan, which is famous for its Danxia rural scenery, Wuling Gorge, which is expert in the canyon landscape, Taiqing Cave, which is famous for the stone forest, Mingfeng Mountain, which is famous for Taoist culture and other scenic spots.
