Yichang has officially kicked off an activity to salute to “The Most Beautiful Migrant Workers” called the First CCB (Chinese Construction Bank) Stars on September 11th, in which 10 “Most Beautiful Migrant Workers” and 10 nominees will be selected across the entire city.

　　The activity is hosted by the leading group on migrant workers of the municipal government, and undertaken by the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Housing Construction Committee, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Three Gorges Daily Media Group, and the Three Gorges Radio and Television Headquarters, in cooperation of China Construction Bank Sanxia Branch and Yichang’s Grid Regulatory Center.

　　The purpose of the activity is to find atypical example of those outstanding migrant workers committed to the urban construction in Yichang and to carry forward their simplicity, hard-working spirit and honesty in work as well as their pioneering courage, in order to create an atmosphere of caring for such workers and sharing the fruits of the urban development by the whole society, to highlight the charm of Yichang's openness and tolerance, and to bring together the strong vitality and impetus to promote the high-quality development of Yichang in the new era.

　　It is reported that the nominees of the activity are to be selected from those rural laborers who have worked in non-agricultural industries within the administrative area of Yichang City or have been inone of itstowns or cities for more than three years and have made outstanding contribution to the economic and social development, especially from those advanced models working at the front lines of the industrial enterprise production,of the key project construction and of the service industry. At the same time, it is required that the "Most Beautiful Migrant Workers" must actively practice the socialist core values and their deeds must be touching and inspiring, reflecting the spirit of the times and representing the image of Yichang.

　　The nomination will be open to the whole society from now on until October 10, and it will be conducted through organizational recommendation, unit recommendation, self-recommendation and mass recommendation. The first two kinds of recommendation should be directly reported to the activity organizing committee office (Migrant Workers' Affairs Section, Tel:6755192); the last two kinds can be made throughthe WeChat public addresses: "the most beautiful Yichang people", "Three Gorges Daily", and "Yichang Release", by clicking the"Typical Recommendations"at the lower right corner of the service bar, and filling in real name, age, occupation, brief deeds or stories and the telephone number of the recommended objects, and the referee's own information. The committee will finalize 10 “Most Beautiful Migrant Workers” and 10 nomination awards.

　　The deeds of the selected workers will be publicized and reported by the entire media of the Three Gorges Daily Media Group. At the celebration site, the “Most Beautiful Migrant Workers” will be awarded cups and a prize of RMB 6,000 each. And they may follow relevant procedures to further apply for such titles as the "model workers" or "May 1 Labor Medal" of Yichang. And another 10 nominees will be awarded RMB 3,000.
