In the future, Yichang residents and tourists near Yichang will have another choice to enjoy ski sports in the city. On September 12, Reporters learned from the Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County Tourism Commission that the first phase of Wufeng International Ski Resort project will be completed and put into use at the end of this year. This is the second alpine ski resort after Bailihuang Alpine Ski Resort.

　　It is reported that Wufeng International Ski Resort is invested by Hubei Wufeng Wuling Mountain Tourism Development Co., Ltd of Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co.，Ltd. The ski resort is located in Group 2, Maozhuang Village, Wantan Town of Wufeng County. Its highest elevation is 2129 meters, and the annual average temperature is only 9.5 ℃. With the ski resort as the center, within a radius of 20 kilometers, there are Pingyun Erhai (the scene of cloud and lake), Shupingying Alpine Wetland, ancient tea road of southwest Hubei, Lijieshan stone forest, ancient village of tea garden and cross-country race track, etc.
