On September 19th, the symposiumwas held forcelebrating the National Day and distributing living subsidy to the retired returned overseas Chineseby the MunicipalFederation of Returned Overseas Chinese, where109 retired returned overseas Chinesewere granted the living subsidy.
It is introducedthat, some measures oftargeted poverty alleviation have been taken by the Yichang Municipal Committee and Governmentto helpthe retired returned overseas Chinese and let thembenefit from the results of the reform and opening up and feel the warmth of the Communist Party of China as well as the government.
The retired returned overseas Chinesewho received the subsidy are those who have had returned to China before 1984and fulfilledthe requirements of retirement; and the subsidyis granted 1,200 RMB per yearper personby the Yichang Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese.
