On the morning of Oct. 17th,the 33rd Chrysanthemum Exhibition Press Conference, held by Yichang Landscaping Construction Management and Protection Center, Yiling District Government, Longquan Government and Daohuaxiang Liquor Group, briefed the general situation and preparation work. According to the press conference, the exhibition will be opened from Oct. 26th to late November, which is the second timeto be held in Longquan Town after the 32nd Chrysanthemum Exhibition. All citizens can go there for free.
21 sets of large-scale chrysanthemum statues, more than 1,000 pots of varieties of chrysanthemums and more than 100 pieces of chrysanthemum works will be exhibited at this exhibition. The total amount of chrysanthemums is 337,000 pots, three times that of the 32nd chrysanthemum exhibition.
With the theme of “Wondering in the flower sea; seeking the bouquet in the city of wine”, this exhibition aims to build an ecological, beautiful and happy garden town which presents the beauty of the chrysanthemums, people, liquor and town, so that the citizens will know the meaning of building Yichang into a garden city.
During the exhibition, when citizens appreciate the beautiful chrysanthemums and enjoy the amorous feelings of the ancient town, 15 events of three series will be held, including star concerts, folk-rock concerts, blind date party, cheongsam show, cultural activities show of "Juvenile", succulents carnival, children's paradise, treasure-hunting and so on. All these activities will provide a cultural tourism feast to citizens and tourists.
Two bus lines are available for citizens:
The first one is bus 107 (Longquan Town is the terminus), starting from Yiling Passenger Transport Station, via Yichang High-tech Zone, Jindongshan Wholesale Market, Yichang Library, Yichang East Railway Station, Three Gorges Logistics Park, Three Gorges Vocational Education Park, Tumen Bridge and Xiaoya Highway and Longquan Town.
The second line is bus 66 (Longquan Town is the terminus) and bus 108, starting from the Yangtze Market Passenger Station, via the Yiling District Talent Market, Yichang Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital, Xiaoxita Senior High School, Yiling Industrial Park, Guanzhuang Road, Cangwubang Village Committee, Paomagang Village Committee, Longquan intersection and Longquan Town.
Three lines are available forthe citizens who are found of self-driving tour:
The first line is starting from Yichang urban area, through the East Railway Station, 107 Provincial Road, Huaxi Road, Huayan 1st Road, Donglin Road, Jixiang Road, Tuxia Road to Longquan Ancient Town; the second line is from Yiling district, Development Avenue (Shanshui Internation), Dongfang Avenue, Xiaoyao Road to Longquan Town; the third line is departs from Yuan'an County, Dangyang County, Jingmen, Wuhan and some other areas, via Hurong Expressway (G42), Yaqueling Toll Station and Xiaoyao Road to Longquan Town. In addition, you can also search the keywords, like Longquan Town or Daohuaxiang Liquor Group, on navigation software, then following it.
There are three parking lots in the exhibition spot:
Limin Biochemical Parking Lot, Yousuosi plant area Parking Lot, and Guojing Road Linge Parking Lot can accommodate more than 2,000 vehicles at the same time. During the exhibition, parking guide will be placed on the site. Personnel on duty will direct at each entrance.
