48 road lamps were installed and tested successfully along the No.2 Xiling Expressway (Dongshan Avenue to Stadium Road section)on Oct.16. The staff of Street Lamp Management and Service Center worked late at night to complete installation, laying a foundation for the lighting of the whole road at the end of this month.

　　No.2 Xiling Expressway is an important road project supervised by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. The supporting street lighting project also gets high attention by the Street Lamp Management and Service Center. A special construction team was organized into this project and worked with road construction unit to investigate the construction of streetlamps, optimize the construction plan, and continuously promote the overall project. Due to large traffic volume of the road section, there are certain safety hazards and difficulties during the daytime construction, construction workers use the time period with small traffic flow at night to complete the task.
