On October 19, the 2008 China Famous Chef Conference and the 3rd Plenary Session of the Fourth Famous Chef Special Committee of China Cuisine Association were held in the urban area. The conference voted on the addition of committee members and standing committee members at the 3rd Plenary Session of the Fourth Famous Chef Special Committee of China Cuisine Association and announced the list of new deputy secretary-general of Famous Chef Special Committee of China Cuisine Association.

　　Feng Enyuan, the vice president of China Cuisine Association, said that China’s catering economy is improving steadily. In 2017, the national catering revenue reached 3964.4 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 10.7%. In the first eight months of 2018, the national catering revenue reached 2631.6 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 9.8%. (Reporter: Li Yang)
