On October 21, the 28th Chef Festival of China welcomed its closing ceremony and its flag handover ceremony of the 29th Chef Festival of China was grandly held in Three Gorges Closure Garden. Vice Mayor Zhou Zhengying attended the closing ceremony.

　　Zhou Zhengying delivered a speech saying that the successful holding of the Chef Festival will vigorously promote the construction of Chefs’ Team in Yichang as well as the development of its catering industry, effectively inspiring Yichang to introduce more high-quality food to people of Yichang and guests from the whole country and even the whole world; making the people of Yichang live a better life and the business guests of Yichang happier; promoting the development of catering economy of Yichang. We sincerely invite catering associations from all places to come to Yichang to show their expertise, and we also welcome chefs from all over the country to exchange skills and visit Yichang.

　　The 29th session of the Chinese chef's Day flag handover ritual was also held on the closing ceremony. Liu Fujiang, deputy director of the Tianjin Commission of Commerce, took the chef's Day banner on behalf of the next Chinese cooks Festival host- Tianjin, China, and made a passionate speech. He thought highly of the meticulous and orderly arrangement of the 28th Chinese Chef Festival, saying that he will try his best to hold the twenty-ninth Chinese chef Festival by coordinating the resources and making good preparations. He exerted a warm welcome to the national catering industry colleagues to travel to Tianjin, feel the city charm of "living every day with gourmet", and co-create a successful Chinese chef Festival.

　　Later, Jiang Junxian, President of the Chinese Cuisine Association, delivered a speech. He said that this year's Chinese Chef Festival was held with great scale, full content and prominent features, and a great success. He hoped that Yichang's catering and tourism industry would make steady progress, thus to achieve an economic prosperity and development, and that Yichang people would lead a happy and healthy life.
