The 28th China Chef’s Festival-Golden Chef Award Ceremony for Chinese Chef and the award ceremony for registered Chinese cooking masters were held in Yichang Theater on Oct. 20th. Zhou Zhengying, the deputy mayor, attended the event and took photos with the prize winners.
Ding Jibin and other 396 people were awarded the annual Golden Chef Award for Chinese Chefs in 2018. Among them, five people from Yichang: Wang Haijun from Yansha Hotel Management Co., Ltd., Yang Shanquan from Taohualing Hotel, Yang Xinghuai from Juweng Restaurant Management Co., Ltd., Hao Jun from Gezhouba Group International Tourism Co., Ltd., and Song Shunlin from Xiazhou Hotel. In addition, Wan Duhe and other ten people were awarded the honorary title of “Best Chef” in 2018, and 1403 people were awarded the honorary title of “Registered Chinese Cooking Master”. It was known that the Golden Chef Award for Chinese Chefs sponsored by the China Cuisine Association was the top honor award in the cooking industry, which mainly honored organizations or individuals who had made outstanding contributions in food management and cooking skills.
