On November 14, Yichang·Jiamusi Economic and Trade Fair as well as Citrus and Tea Promotion Conference was held in Jiamusi City of Heilongjiang Province, which is known as “China’s East Pole”. Yilinghong Ecological Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and other Yichang agricultural enterprises signed purchase and sale agreement of 1.06 million tons of citrus valued at 445 million yuan and tea valued at 35 million yuan with domestic and foreign distributors such as Russian Haba Oriental Nevada Co., Ltd. and Tesco Supermarket in Jiamusi City.

　　Before the promotion conference, Yichang participants visited Jiatian international agricultural and sideline products logistics trading center.

　　The center is the largest comprehensive wholesale trade market for agricultural and sideline products in the eastern part of Heilongjiang. With an investment of 800 million yuan in 2011, it occupied 280,000 square meters. In 2017, the trading volume reached 580,000 tons, and the sales reached nearly 4.7 billion yuan. At the promotion conference, Yichang citrus and tea promotional video was broadcast. Wang Enzhen, the president of Yichang City Citrus Industry Association, introduced the development of citrus industry in the whole city. Besides, the Yiling District Government issued plaques for the 2016-2017 outstanding contributors on citrus sales to Jiamusi City Jiatian Deyi Industrial Co., Ltd. and awarded the company 20,000 yuan.

　　“Yichang citrus has good quality and moderate price, and it sells well.” Russia Birobidzhan Jiamosi Co., Ltd. signed a Citrus purchase and sale agreement of 10 million dollars with Yilinghong Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. Maksim, the purchasing manager, hoped to strengthen trade and economic cooperation with Yichang, so that more Russians could taste Yichang ecological agricultural products. “Yichang citrus accounts for more than half of Yichang citrus sales.” Xu Peng, the deputy secretary of the party committee of Jiamusi Commerce and Economic and Trade Cooperation Bureau, hoped to establish a long-term and effective cooperation mechanism between the two places to achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win situation. “The successful holding of this promotion conference shows us the huge sales potential of the northeast market, which will play a significant role in promoting the sales of Yichang citrus and tea in Jiamusi and its surrounding areas. At the same time, via the Jiamusi port channel, we can sell Yichang characteristic agricultural products to the hinterland of Russia, so as to expand the export channels.” Xu Ye, the deputy director of the Municipal Agricultural Bureau, said that, next, Yichang would continue to hold similar promotion activities in the three northeast provinces, expanding the sales scope of Yichang characteristic agricultural products in the northeast to promote agricultural efficiency, so as to help farmers increase their income.
