On 8th, Nov., Yichang Tingshen Court Trial Centre of Hubei Branch of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission was officially listed. Wang Chengjie, the Secretary-General of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and Liu Weiling, member of Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee of the CPC and the Deputy Mayor, attended the signing ceremony.

　　Wang Chengjie pointed out that an excellent business environment was the key to boom and develop business and investment, which meant that a high-level, high-quality foreign-related business arbitration mechanism was an indispensable factor. Yichang Court Trial Centre of Hubei Branch of CIETAC will provide further service to the foreign-funded enterprises and foreign trade enterprises in Yichang Free Trade Zone, and instruct them to resolve commercial disputes, accept and adjudicate international commercial disputes, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises with arbitration, so as to explore and establish a diversified commercial dispute resolution mechanism and promote the high-quality development of Yichang's open economy.

　　On behalf of Yichang Municipal Party Committee of CPC and Municipal Government, Liu Weiling expressed gratitude to CIETAC for its strongly support of Yichang’s economic and social development. She said that Yichang, as one of the earliest cities in China's inland to open to outside world, has always been an open, inclusive place with active economy and trade, which has been established economic and trade exchanges with more than 100 countries and regions. The Yichang Arbitration Commission should cooperate with the Hubei Branch of the CIETAC to actively implement and carry out the work of Yichang Tingshen Court and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises.
