From November 18th to 19th, nearly 100 overseas Chinese businessmen from 21 countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, etc. came to China upon invitation to participate in the activity "2018 Overseas Chinese Hometown Tour - in Yichang, Hubei", which was sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Federation and undertaken by both the provincial and municipal overseas Chinese federations.

　　The delegation visited the Yichang City Planning Exhibition Hall and Xiling Gorge to learn more about the city’s development, achievements and planning. They also made field trips of the city to investigate its urban construction, investment environment and customs to get a feel of its bright development prospect as the provincial sub-center city and the world famous hydro-power tourism city.

　　During the event, “Chinese Merchants in Three Gorges”, an investment project promotion meeting was held, at which promotion videos such as Yichang Impression and The Charming Yichang were played to show the city’s image and to introduce its superior location, abundant natural resources and complete infrastructure in the hope of the better understanding of both Hubei and Yichang by the overseas Chinese and their widespread eulogization of Yichang.
