On the evening of December 2nd, the 2018 Closing Concert of Yangtze River Piano Music Week for Colleges&Universities jointly sponsored by Higher Education Academy of China and Yichang Municipal People’s Government was held at Yichang Theater. Wang Guobin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Minister of Publicity Department as well as Kong Fusheng and WangRong, the city leaders, attended the concert.

　　In line with the purpose of “Promoting Music Culture, Cultivating Music Talents”, the golden prize winners of each group of 2018 Yangtze River Piano Competition, together with the famous young pianist Pan Linzi, presented an audio-visual feast to audiences. Gorgeous and romantic Fantasy Dance, Peking Opera Moment with rich national characteristics, graceful and tactful variations of Variations on a Theme of Paganini, fresh and lyric Piano Concerto No.1 in B flat minor, magnificent Yellow River Piano Concerto were played successively enchanting audiences with melodic chapter blended with East and West, ancient and modern music.

　　With musicas the link and piano as the media, the general public appreciated valiant grace of professional piano contestant, listened to the affectionate performance of top musicians in China, experienced the excellent academic exchanges among presidents and teachers from universities and colleges, and received on-site guidance of famous masters during this music week.
