It was learned on December 6 that the Yichang Municipal Housing Provident Fund Management Center will start to provide 12329 short message service (SMS) on the same day for improvement of Housing Provident Fund Management service. The notification messages related to fund withdrawal and remittance, supplementary and normal deposits will be sent by the “12329” hotline through the platform to the applicants. This is a further citizen-benefiting measure besides the opening of “Online Business Hall”, “WeChat Public Account” and “Mobile APP”launched by the center.

　　After the opening of the online SMS, it will send the real-time massages about the changes of the accounts, the progress of business handling and results and so onto the related operators, depositors and borrowers, including the collective and individual business processing information as well as the individual housing fund loan information.

　　The 12329 Housing Provident Fund SMS as a public service is free of charge, and all the housing provident fund applicants can receive the messages about business processing and account changes, including the operators who have registered their phone numbers, the depositors who have bound mobile numbers to their accounts through the business hall operation, citizen e-home APP or the Wechat public account of the Housing Provident Fund Management Center, and the borrowers who have retained their phone numbers when applying for the housing provident fund loan.
