This is the city's first tariff guarantee insurance.

　　On November 1, the General Administration of Customs and Banking & Insurance Regulatory Commission carried out pilots of tariff guarantee insurance reform in the national customs. After they purchase the tariff guarantee insurance from the insurance company, the import and export enterprises do not need to pay the deposit or provide the bank guarantee. With the insurance policy, the Customs tax guarantee procedure can be handled to facilitate the customs clearance of goods. This reform measure can simplify the customs clearance process, improve the level of trade facilitation, ease the pressure on capital occupation of import and export enterprises, reduce the cost of customs clearance, and improve the cross-border trade and business environment.

　　At present, Yichang Customs is maximizing the release of this new political dividend. By then, more than 30 import and export enterprises in the city will reduce the annual pressure of nearly 50 million Yuan, especially for small and medium-sized import and export enterprises, which will help to solve the series of problems such as difficulty in applying for bank guarantee, high cost, guarantee, and long procedure time. It provides a new way to solve the problem of “difficult and expensive funding”.
