Yichang was once again awarded the "National Unpaid Blood Donation Exemplary City", which is the sixth continuous glorious title for our city within 12 years since 2006.

　　At the same time, Yichang Central Blood Station won the National Prize for Promoting Unpaid Blood Donation (Special Award), becoming the only awarded city for the blood collection and supply institution in Hubei Province.This time, China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. won the National Prize for Promoting Unpaid Blood Donation (unit award); Li Wenhong, a staff from Yichang New Materials Industrial Park of Xingfa Group, won the National Prize for Promoting Unpaid Blood Donation (Individual Prize); Twenty-five volunteers in the city won the National Prize for Voluntary Service of Unpaid Blood Donation and 1608 blood donors won the National Prize for Dedication of Unpaid Blood Donation.

And 79 volunteers who donated blood without compensation have been awarded National Star-level Prize for Voluntary Service.
