On December 22nd, the 2018 China Rural Revitalization Development Forum and the promotion ceremony of special rural tourism brand were held in Hangzhou. Appraised by Tourism Development Exchange Center of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society and the China Travel Media Alliance, Yiling District won the title of “China's Best Rural Leisure Roaming Site”. Lu Fengling, deputy director of the Commission of Tourism Developm of Yiling District, made a tourism power point promotion named “Magnificent Three Gorges and Beautiful Yiling” for the leaders and guests, and it was praised both by the leaders and guests. In recent years, Yiling District has seized the strategic opportunity of rural revitalization, has established a high-quality development concept and adhered to the two-wheel drive of scenic and rural tour, and at the same time as the scenic spots were upgraded , based on the idea of “Enjoying the scenery, the fruits and the farming, living a quiet and slow life in the countryside”, developed various types of rural tourism products. At present, the district has 11 A-level scenic spots, more than 900 recreational agricultural demonstration sites, 1 national famous scenic tourist town, 2 provincial famous tourist towns, 4 famous tourist villages, and 585 star-rated farmhouses. In 2018, Yiling District received more than 17.8 million Chinese and foreign tourists, an increase of 18% over the same period of last year; the comprehensive tourism income was 19.5 billion yuan, an increase of 18%.
