On December 25, the reporter learned from the municipal government that the overall closure of our city's coal mines smoothly passed the inspection of the provincial acceptance check group, after the final 38 coal mines passed the acceptance, taking the lead in accomplishing the goal of closing the coal mines as a whole in Hubei province. So far, our city has fully withdrawn from the coal mining industry of more than 200 years.

　　In recent years, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have taken the overall closure of coal mines as an important measure for ensure the implement of the spirit of President Xi's important speech during his visit to Hubei province, and an vital approach to promote high-quality economic development. 　　During the closure of the coal mine, our city has established a supervising system of “one mine and one team”, and has cooperated with Hubei Coal Supervisory Bureau to conduct a comprehensive reexamination including “safety examination” and “looking back examination” to thoroughly inspect and manage potential safety risks. The relevant regulatory authorities have followed a strict enforcement and carried out the “fighting violations” action in a four-no-two-direct manner. The authorities have strengthened the safety inspections in particular during holidays and the period of equipment withdrawal, ensuring the safe and successful closure of the coal mines.
