On December 30, 2018, the reporter learned from the Municipal Logistics Bureau that Yichang has completed a fixed asset investment of 2.37 billion yuan in logistics projects in 2018, accounting for 275.9% and 118.5% of the provincial and municipal investment targets, respectively. For the first time, the investment ranking achieved the first in the province.

　　Yichang continuously optimizes and improves the layout of logistics project nodes, and actively plans the “two-area and one-line”industry; that is to say, Yichang East Railway Station, New High-speed Railway North Station, Three Gorges Airport, Yunchi and Baiyang Deep Water Port of the main city are taken as the east of the city, and places around the south of the railway station of Dianjun District as the south of the city, forming a large two-area logistics layout; Yichang deploys the main axis of logistics along the Yangtze River, strengthening the construction of logistics infrastructure.

　　In 2018, the city's logistics project operating rate is higher than the provincial average, and investment progress is at the forefront of the province. At present, the city has built 11 logistics parks and 5 logistics parks under construction, 20 projects in the early stage of construction, 660 logistics enterprises and 3,400 commercial enterprises entering the parks. Eight county-level logistics nodes have been built, 66 rural comprehensive service stations and 803 village-level service points have been newly renovated.
