The 14th Annual Economic Meeting of Tea Industry held by China Tea Marketing Association recently issued the list of “Top 100 Chinese Tea Enterprises of 2018”,and 8 Hubei enterprises, among which 5 are Yichang companies.

　　The 5 companies include Xiao’s Tea Group, Caihua Tea Company, Yihong Tea Company, Sanpinyuan Tea Company, and Longxia Tea Group. Among the 5 companies, the Xiao’s Tea Group was granted the honorary titles of“Top 10 Best Selling Tea Brands in China”and “Top 10 Innovative Enterprises of Tea Quality in China”of 2018.

　　In recent years,the strategy for further improvement of the green tea industry, rejuvenation of black tea industry and development of Chinese black tea has been made to promote the development of the tea industry of Yichang, as has made the tea industry of Yichang grow in a sound condition with its prevailing scale, development speed, quality and efficiency at home. At present, the tea plantation area of the whole city covers 639.8 square kilometers, with an output of 74.7 thousand tons of tea, the annual comprehensive output value of which reaches 1.6 billion US dollars, which ranks the 1st place in the provincial tea industry.
