On January 2, the 2019 China Alpine Skiing Triathlon & the First Yichang Ice and Snow Festival was held in Wufeng International Ski Resort.More than 30 professional teams from 15 provinces and cities including Shanghai, Hunan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang participated in the competition. After fierce competition, the three teams of Feiyue from Hubei, Huwai Jundao from Suzhou and Ermengjunwon the top three in the race group.

　　The competition was divided into a three-person relay race group and a national fitness ski experience group. The total length of the track of the race group was 370 meters, regardless of age, gender, single or double boards. As to the three-person relay race group, the three stages of gyration, platform jumping and straight skiing were set. The total length of the track of the experience group was 120 meters. The experience group mainly aimed at popularizing skiing knowledge to the public and enabling them to experience the infinite pleasure of ice and snow sports. On the afternoon, more than 1,000 ski lovers participated in the competition of the experience group.

　　The 2019 Wufeng China Alpine Skiing Three-Person Relay Race was one of the 5th National Public Ice and Snow Season series. It aims at popularizing ice and snow sports to the public and accelerating the deep integration of "sports + tourism". The event was co-hosted by the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Skiing Association, and it was jointly sponsored by the Preparatory Working Group of the Extreme Winter Sports Project Management Center of Hubei Administration of Sports, Yichang Sports Bureau, Yichang Tourism Commission, the People's Government of Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County and Hubei Wuling Mountain Tourism Development Co., Ltd.

　　The Wufeng International Skiing Resort is built in Wantan town, which is more than 2,100 meters above sea level. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and has a total investment of 200 million yuan. 16 junior, middle and advanced slides with a total length of 7 kilometers are planned. After the completion of the project, it will become the largest ski resort with the most complete functions in central China. The first phase of the project was put into operation on December 8 last year. It has received more than 20,000 tourists and achieved a comprehensive income of more than 3 million yuan.
