On February 12th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission that after more than seven months of clean-up activities, the electric charges are levied, according to the catalogue electricity price, on general commercial users in the urban area of Yichang. And the burden of electricity consumption has reduced by more than 20% on average, and more than 1.5 million yuan of overcharges have been refunded.

　　Last July, the Hubei Price Bureau issued the Notice on Implementing the Relative Items of the Reform Office of the National Development and Reform Commission to Clean up and Regularize Power Grid and Charges for Power Supply Transfer Links, and the Price Supervision Bureau of Yichang Development and Reform Commission took effective measures to carry out solid electricity inspection activities in the power supply transfer links, reduced the general industrial and commercial electricity price by 10%, lightening the burden of industrial and commercial users.

　　The Price Supervision Bureau of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission has carried out two rounds of electricity price inspection for Non-direct Copy Users, focusing on whether there is non-implementation of catalogue tariff for main body of power supply, non-implementation of various national and provincial electricity price reduction measures, bundling charges and so on. Up to now, a total of 52 main units of power supply transfer in urban areas of Yichang have been inspected and standardized, involving nearly 9000 end-users, and 24 notifications of ordering rectification have been issued.
