On February 19th, the reporter learned from Yichang Three Gorges Tourism Scenic Area Year Card Service Center that from February 25th, the current Yichang Tourism Year Card (fingerprint physical card) will be completely suspended, and e-tourism year card will be activated. After the successful operation of Wechat Official account “ E-tourism Card”, citizens can directly enter the scenic spots through face scanning.

　　It is reported that in order to meet the needs of the times and make it easier for users to apply for and use Yichang Tourism Year Card, the current cards will be upgraded without using physical cards. From March 1st, new Tourism Year Cards will all be processed through the WeChat Official Account “E- Tourism Year Card”. For those who register and pay the fee from March 1st to March 31st, the validity period will be extended by 3 months; for those who register and pay the fee from April 1st to April 30th, the validity period will be extended by 2 months; if you register and pay the bill from May 1st to June 30th, the validity period will be extended by 1 months.

　　From March 5th, the old tourism year card users in Yichang and Jingmen can be converted into e-tourism year card users through the self-registration of the WeChat official account “Electronic Travel Card”, and the validity period is the same as that of the fingerprint physical card.

　　From July 1st, the original fingerprint physical card system will be completely discontinued, and the Yichang Tourism Year card(the fingerprint physical card including the Yichang citizen card) will be ceased to be used to enter the scenic spots from then on.
