On February 22nd , the Hubei provincial government website released the "list of Jingchu Grand Site Inheritance and Development Projects ". Quyuan Temple, Guanling Temple, Changyangren Site and Chengbeixi Site in Yichang city were listed as the provincial cultural heritage parks and they will receive the prior inheritance and development.
It was understood that in the list of Jingchu Grand Site Inheritance and Development Projects, 7 sites such as Panlongcheng Site in Wuhan City were listed as national archaeological sites parks; 33 sites such as Quyuan Temple and Guanling Temple in Yichang City were listed as cultural relics parks in Hubei Province. Hubei province will strengthen the protection and utilization of large sites and build important sites of Jingchu culture. The Provincial Department of Finance will increase support and give priority in related funds to those who were in the list of Jingchu Grand Site Inheritance and Development Projects.
According to the target, by 2023, no less than 20 national archaeological sites parks and cultural relics parks in Hubei Province will have been built with the themes of "Human Origin", "Civilized Origin", "Chu culture", "Three Kingdoms Culture", "Chieftain Culture", "Red Culture" and "Jingchu Celebrities" . The ability of protection and management of large sites will be significantly improved, and the system of the heritage and development system of Jingchu great sites will be formed, making Hubei a demonstration area for the protection of large sites in the south of China.
