On Feb. 26th, the reporter learned from Yichang Port and Waterway Construction and Maintenance Center that, as of Jan. 31st, 64 of Yichang's 71 operating wharfs had all the power supply capacity of port power except for 7 wharfs to be dismantled. So far, our city has achieved full port power coverage.

　　At present, Yichang has promoted the installation of 33 standard wharf power station piles for operational wharfs. It is expected that 30 commercial wharfs will have been distributed and installed by the end of March. And the construction of commercial wharfs in Sandouping tourist wharf of Yichang Port will be completed synchronously with the renovation and expansion.

　　According to the calculation of the electric power department, the annual electricity consumption of Yichang port power will reach 23.8 million kilowatt-hours after the comprehensive promotion of the Port Power Project, which can reduce the emissions of various gases by 15,000 tons.
