　　Zhang Jiasheng introduced that on April 24 last year, General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Hubei, explored the Yangtze River, and the first stop is Yichang, which was an important milestone for the reform and development of Yichang. In the past year, the municipal party committee and the municipal government put the restoration of ecological environment of the Yangtze River in an important position and promoted the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry with powerful strength to ensure the clarity of the Yangtze River, and handed over a fruitful answer.

　　Zhang Jiasheng said that Yichang has vigorously promoted 134 chemical companies along the Yangtze River to “change and relocate”, achieving a 3.8% reduction in energy consumption per unit of GDP, a 5% reduction in ground consumption, and a 7% drop in water consumption.
