On March 8, the Three Gorges Bamboo Park, after a upgrade of more than 20 months, opened for trial operation and received a total of 4500 tourists mainly from Yichang, Jingmen, Jingzhou, Xiangyang, Xiantao, Qianjiang and Tianmen on the same day. (Correspondent: Fu Hua)

　　The park, located in Sixi village, Maoping Town, Zigui County, is 9 kilometers away from the county town. It is a national AAAA scenic spot with sightseeing and dynamic experience as its main business, leisure vacation and popular science exploration as its auxiliary items. Its upgrade officially started on June 30, 2017, with a total investment of 160 million yuan.

　　After the upgrade, more sightseeing experience items have been added. Visitors can have a view of the five-fold waterfalls with the highest drop in Asia at the top of the mountain, row bamboo rafts and take part in dragon boat races in the Holy Water Lake, ride the sliding rope to experience the breathtaking excitement of suspension, and enjoy the water curtain swing, cliff swing, high-altitude via ferrata, glass trestle road, glass slide and other items. Besides, sightseeing buses running within the park will greatly improve your experience of the excitement.
