On March 17,Yuan’an Field Marathon, a gold medal race, sponsored by China Athletics Association, opened fireshoots at the Century Square in Mingfeng Town. 　　On March 17, as 2019 Yuan’an Field Marathon opened fire shoot, more than 8,000 athletes from home and abroad started running in a sea of beautiful flowers, enjoying the pleasure of sports in the warm sunshine.

　　The Yuan’an Field Marathon in 2019 consists of six events: Men's and Women's Full Marathon (42.195 km), Men's and Women's Half Marathon (21.0975 km), Mini Marathon and Family Run (7.5 km).

　　After a fierce competition, Kenya's male athlete Nusco Pitt Nusmay and female athleteGiplopouliane jepkoskiwon the men's and women's Full Marathon Championship respectively; China's male athlete Qian Dingbin and Ethiopia's female athlete Yemo Beiba Malu won the men's and women's championship respectively.

　　Yuan’an Field Marathon, founded in 2016, is the first marathon named "Field" in China. It is greatly loved by marathoners for its unique Danxia landform and golden sea of cole flowers. In 2018, the Yuan’an Field Marathon was awarded the gold medal race by China Athletics Association.

　　This year, with its upgrade in scale and quality, Yuan’an Field Marathon has joined the "Healthy China" Marathon Series and the "Hundred-City and Hundred-Marathon Program” and added some thematic activities, which not only bring better experience to runners but also enlarge its scale and influence.
