The First Cole Flowers Festival and Large-scale Agricultural Assistance Festival in Yidu City opened in Quanshuihe Village, Zhicheng Town on March 16. More than 33 hectares (or 500 mu) of cole flowers raced to blossom and burst into fragrance, attracting at least 2000 citizens and tourists to roam in the sea of flowers and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.

　　As a demonstration base of cole flowers in Yidu City, Quanshuihe Village boasts over 33 hectares of cole flowers. While developing rapeseed industry, the village further expands the various functions of this industry such as the cultural function inherited from Chinese agrarian civilization, the ecological function of beautifying the rural environment and the tourism function of leisure and sightseeing. It also accelerates the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy through transforming and upgrading the rapeseed industry. The Cole Flowers Festival will last until March 24, with Singer Grand Prix, Tug-of-war Contest, Treasure Hunt on Foot, Douyin Video Competition, Destination Recording by Photography and other activities being held one after another during the period.
