On March 18th, it is learned from Yichang Traffic & Tourism Group that the 809 Micro vacation Town in Xialaoxi, Yiling District is under construction and is expected to be put into operation this summer.
The 809 Micro vacation Town, a resort integrated with various industrial elements, locates in Jiangjiamiao Village, Yiling District by the side of Xialaoxi River based an abandoned factory. It is a local tourism development project with a construction area of 160,000 km, undertaken by the Yichang Traffic&Tourism Group with an investment of 170 million yuan in total, and each section of the project is now under orderly construction, including renovation, expansion, decoration and the building of a parking lot and an outdoor theater.
It is learnt that the Yichang Traffic&Tourism Group is carrying out the comprehensive construction of the tourism facilities in the area along the Yangtze River between the Xialaoxi Bridge and the Nanjinguan Canyon(the mouth of the Xiling Gorge), and the major parts of the construction have been completed, including the main structure of the buildings, the underground pipe network, the parking lots and the main road network and its further decoration and greening is being handled as scheduled for its opening to the public in the summer.
