On March 24, Zigui County Government and Yichang Xingfa Group Co., Ltd. reached an intentional cooperation agreement to jointly develop and construct the Lepingli Eco-Cultural Leisure Tourism Area in Qu Yuan’s hometown. After the completion of the project, it will be integrated with existing Xiakou tourism terminal in Dalaoling of Yiling District and Chaotianhou of Xingfa Group into the Three Gorges Xiangxi International Tourism and Leisure Area, becoming the core product of the ecological tourism circle in western Hubei province.

　　The project of Lepingli Eco-cultural Leisure Tourist Area is expected to invest 1 billion yuan RMB in plan to start its construction of the first batch of projects by the end of 2019, put them into operation by the end of 2020, and complete the whole project in 2028. After the completion of the project, more than 1,000 local people will be directly employed each year, more than 600 people will be helped to get out of poverty, and the total income of county economy will be more than 600 million yuan, which will generate 10 million yuan of tax revenue each year.

　　With the abundant eco-cultural tourism resources in Zigui, focusing on the planning and construction of the leading tourism project in the "13th Five-Year Plan" of Hubei Province--Three Gorges Xiangxi International Tourism and Leisure Area, Zigui County attracts investment and introduces Xingfa Group, cooperating in the development of Lepingli Eco-cultural and Leisure Tourism Area, focusing on the development of Wuzhi Mountain and Lepingli regions. Besides, the idea of "ecology +", "culture +" and "Internet +" is embedded in the whole process of tourism development to promote the deep integration of tourism, agriculture, industry, e-commerce, culture and other related industries, carrying out comprehensive tourism development including sightseeing, health care, leisure, vacation, research, camping, and self driving, and striving to build a wholel tourism brand centered on "Qu Yuan's hometown and Wuzhi Mountain".
