On March 30, Zhijiang City held the “Investment to Zhijiang·Returning of Ambassadors ” investment conference with the theme of “returning”, more than 350 Zhijiang Middle School Alumni, Well-known personalities and entrepreneurs from Zhijiang gathered in Zhijiang to share their family sentiments and seek common development plans for their hometown.

　　At the fair, 70 recruiting ambassadors and 15 recruiting consultants were hired again to establish overseas alumni chapters in Singapore, New Zealand and the United States, and the “Consulate Consulates” in the United States, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. On that day, Hubei University of Technology Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Base, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Functional Film Materials Technology Center and Oriental Years Academician expert workstations were officially settled in Zhijiang.

　　In 2018, Zhijiang took the lead in launching the “Talents for hometown·Investment to Zhijiang” activity to explore a new path of “Investment” integration and mutual promotion of talents, capital, projects and industries, and establish alumni associations, chambers of commerce and talents. The new mode of attracting investment from workstations and recruiting ambassadors attracted more than 340 high-end talents to “return” and more than 2,200 people returned to their hometowns for employment. Focusing on the chain of talents and innovation chain in the industry chain, it has built 22 high-end production and research platforms, such as the laboratory of Sanning Research Institute and the Research Institute of Lithium Ion Battery Industry (Test Center), and cooperated with the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology to build the first technology leader in Hubei Province. The Talent Innovation Drive Center employed 11 leading scientists in science and technology as government science and technology consultants, and gathered more than 40 high-educated R&D personnel from Tsinghua University and Central South University, and 120 technical experts to form a new path of “industry plus platform plus talents”.

　　At the subsequent investment fair, 32 on-site contracts were signed, with an investment of 15.96 billion yuan, including 15 investment projects by Zhijiang people, with an investment of 8.2 billion yuan and 17 Zhijiang people's referral projects with an investment of 7.76 billion yuan. It involves smart cities, robots, new chemical materials, green energy conservation, cultural creativity, and eco-tourism.
