Those who have not applied for a number plate to drive on the road beyond the time limit will receive a warning or a fine of 50 yuan will be imposed in accordance with the regulations of Yichang City Administration of Electric bicycles.

　　According to the reports, non-standard electric bicycles purchased after May 1, in accordance with the provisions in Regulations, will not be issued temporary number plates and cannot be driven on the road. Non-standard electric bicycles purchased before May 1 must register under real names and apply for temporary number plates between May 1 and July 31. From August 1, non-standard electric bicycles without a temporary license plate on the road will be sentenced to a warning or a fine of 50 yuan in accordance with the regulations.

　　The traffic police reminded that for non-standard electric bicycles, Regulations stipulate that the withdrawal system shall be implemented within a time limit of no more than three years, and the transitional period shall begin on May 1, 2019 and expire on April 30, 2022. Those who are still on the road after the deadline will be fined 500 yuan in accordance with Article 26 of the regulations. Non-standard electric bicycles under the three-year transition period management shall be registered under real name to obtain the temporary number plate, hung with the temporary number plate, and comply with the relevant provisions of non-motor vehicle traffic management.
