9-valent Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines Available in Yichang

  It was learned from Yichang CDC on April 2 that the first 400 9-valent HPV vaccines have arrived in the city. From now on, citizens can go to any one of the 10 vaccination sites to make an on-site appointment for vaccination. It is learnt that currently the 9-valent HPV vaccine can prevent the most cervical viruses, with women aged between 16 and 26 suitable for the vaccination in China.

  10 Vaccination Sites; Only for On-site Booking

  It is introduced that a limited proportion of 9-valent HPV vaccines have just been available in Hubei, with 400 vaccines allocated to Yichang. At present, only 10 vaccination sites in the urban area have offered for scheduled vaccination.They are:

  Yichang Maternal and Child Health Care Vaccination Service, 6475230;

  City Disease Control Center Yimalu Street Vaccination Service, 6922566;

  Xiling Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6832961;

  Chengdong Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6522758;

  Xiba Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6272898;

  Nanyuan Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6342120;

  Yiling Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6713452;

  Yunji Community Health Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6222127;

  Dagongqiao Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6911370;

  Gulaobei Community Healthcare Center Vaccination Service, 6514595.

  From now on, citizens can go to the above vaccination sites to make appointments for the 9-valent HPV vaccines (on-site booking only) with their ID card or citizen card.

  Doctors remind people that the vaccine is only a precautious measure. To stay away from HPV, it’s also important for people to have regular screening and develop autoimmunity.
