　　The warm breeze and the fascinating suburbs excited people’s enthusiasm for traveling during this holiday after several rainy days. According to statistics, Yichang city received a total of 2.1831 million tourists from home and abroad during the holiday,with a year-on-year increase of 21.28%, generating tour revenue of 1.223 billion yuan,a year-on-year rise of 23.54%.

　　During the holiday, the major scenic spots of the city scored well, especially the five scenic spots included in the province's holiday tourism monitoring received a total number of 206,184 tourists, with a comprehensive income of 13.1017 million yuan, up by 8.74% and 14.74% respectively on year-on-year basis. Among them, Chexi Renjia Ethnic Tour Zone,officially opened to the public on April 4 after an upgrade, attracted 43,500 tourists to experience the ancient and simple folk customs of Ba and Chu, with a ticket income of 1.39 million yuan in three days, with its ingenious Tujia version of “Riverside scenes at the Qingming Festival” and “Resurrected” ancient buildings, merchants and peddlers to recreate the prosperity of Tujia market a hundred years ago.

　　The Three Travelers Cave and Xiling Gorge Gap Scenic Zone launched a traditional cultural garden party entitled “In traditional Chinese garments to enjoy spring scenery while offering sacrifices to rivers and delivering condolences to ancestors”. Tens of thousands of tourists dressed in costumes of Han and Tang Dynasties admired the spring scenery on the riverside. Qu Yuan's Hometown Scenic Spot kicked off a series of wonderful activities closely related to flower-watching and night tours including K-song show, open-air movie show, ancient music and sand painting show, and a dream light show. Bailihuang attracted tourists to participate its experience products such as “Internet Celebrity Colorful Slides”, “Passion Paragliders” and "Air Drifting".

　　All parts of the city have held various cultural tour festivals themed “flowers” since March. The city's spring tourism market kicked off with such theme activities as the 2019 Yichang’s Opening Ceremony of Rural Leisure Tourism & the 18th Three Gorges-Zhijiang Peach Blossom Festival, the 8th Peach Blossom Culture Festival of China Three Gorges University, and the 4th Bauhinia Culture Festival of Jiufeng Valley in Three Gorges. Millions of tulips in Longquan Lake of Longquan Town, the cole fields in Fenxiang Town of Yiling District and pink cherry flowers on Zhiyinpan Island attracted thousands of tourists to visit. Numerous tourists around Yichang and from Wuhan City enjoyed the beauty of the countryside by seeing the flowers, photographing and sketching.

　　During the holiday, the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau and various other departments jointly carried out a comprehensive law enforcement to clean up the tourism environment. In the act,192 officers were dispatched on cultural market law enforcement in the inspection of 64 business units of various types and 3 business units were ordered to correct their misbehavior.
