On April 17, the world's first “zero labor tea processing factory” was completed and put into production in China's most beautiful tea village Dengcun village, Yiling district.

The factory was independently developed by Xiaoshi Tea Industry in 7 years. It has 7 core patents including clean washing, trinity killing and rotary static withering. The machines were entrusted to the world-renowned tea machine manufacturer Kawasaki Machinery Co., Ltd.

According to Xiao Yong, Chairman of Xiaoshi Tea Industry, the “zero labor factory”, with an investment of 110 million yuan, has a fresh leaf cleaning production line, two famous green tea production lines and a famous black tea production line. The designed annual tea production capacity is 2,000 tons. The nearly 10,000-square meter intelligent production workshop needs only 1 to 2 people and the self-control rate is 98% and the ratio of energy utilization of clean processing is 100%. The whole process of tea production is CNC automation, which operates around the clock and reduces the total operating cost by 55% and the energy consumption by 40%.
