Since April 1 this year, the price of electricity for general industry, commerce and other sales, and transmission and distribution in the whole city has been lowered by 0.0253 yuan per kilowatt hour. The cost of electricity consumption for enterprises is expected to be saved by more than 41 million yuan this year.

The State Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission have successively issued the Notice on the Adjustment of Value-added Tax Rates for Power Grid Enterprises and the Corresponding Reduction of General Industrial and Commercial Electricity Prices, which decides that the electricity price space generated by the adjustment of Value -added Tax Rates for Power Grid Enterprises in Hubei province and the cancellation of the later-stage support funds for local reservoir resettlement is planned to reduce the general industrial and commercial electricity prices, and implement the policy dividend to the industrial and commercial enterprises. According to the electricity consumption in the same period last year, after the adjustment of electricity price, more than 410 million yuan of electricity consumption cost for enterprises is bound to be saved this year. Reportedly, last year, Yichang has reduced the general industrial and commercial electricity price three times, with a cumulative reduction of 10% and a reduction of 0.087 yuan per kilowatt, for which more than 100 million yuan of enterprise electricity cost has been saved in the whole year.
