On May 1st, the third Yichang Agricultural Carnival themed “Science and Technology boost Industry” was initiated at the Yichang Modern Agriculture Exhibition Center in Dianjun District.

　　The Carnival which will last for a whole month focuses on the weak aspects of agricultural industry in mid-mountain zones of Yichang, highlighting the latest and best-looking vegetables, fruit trees, tea leaves and other specialized agricultural varieties, including more than 60 varieties of 11 types of characteristic fruit trees, such as raspberries and mulberries, some 30 pumpkin varieties for both or either edible and ornamental purposes and several types of online celebrated citruses.(Reported by Jie Xingwei and Lü Min)
