From April 28 to May 9, Dr. Calderon Noam, director of plastic surgery at Bnai Zion Medical Center in Israel, had been in Yichang People's Central Hospital, for a 10-day academic exchange.
During this exchange, he participated in guiding a series of activities, such as difficult case discussion, teaching rounds, outpatient consultation, academic lectures, and so on, in six departments of downtown hospital, such as medical beauty department, thyroid surgery department, burn department, dermatology department, and so on. At the same time, he also brought "laser treatment", "hemangioma treatment", "cleft lip and palate" and other special lectures.
Dr. Calderon Noam is the first expert sent by the organization to direct since MATAT signed the contract with the hospital. In the near future, there will be more nursing and vascular experts to guide the exchange. MATAT is a non-profit non-governmental organization established with the support of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
