On May 10, Yichang held a meeting between banks and enterprises on 10 strategic plans for green development in 2019. 19 financial institutions signed financing agreements with 11 enterprises on the spot, with a total amount of 9.2 billion yuan. Zhou Ji, Secretary of Yichang Municipal Party Committee, witnessed the signing of the contract.

　　Zhang Jiasheng, the Deputy Secretary of Yichang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor and Du Haiyang,deputy director of the Development and Reform Commission of Hubei Province, delivered speeches respectively. The leaders of Yichang Citysuch asLiu Xuefu, Song Wenbao and Liu Jian attended the meeting. Vice Mayor Wang Yinghua presided over the meeting.

　　The contracted projects, covering fine chemicals, new materials, biomedicine, transportation logistics, rural tourism and other fields, are innovative and generic drugs projects of Dongguang Sunshine Company, structural adjustment of synthetic ammonia raw materials and co-production of 600,000 tons/year ethylene glycol projects of Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd.,Yaojiagang Industrial Waste Treatment and Recycling Project (Phase I)of Beijing Enterprises Group Co., Ltd.,the second phase of the reconstruction and expansion of the flight zone and air traffic control project of the Sanxia Airport, Honghuatai Modern Logistics Park project, the comprehensive development project of Sanxia Fanba Logistics Industrial Parkin Hubei, Maoping Freight Transport Center in Three Gorges Dam Area and Caojiayu Tourismin Dianjun District,Three Gorges New Material Glass Deep Processing Industrial Park,and the project with annual production of 900,000 tons of limestone for building materials in Zaolin Mining Area of Dangyang. Among them, five commercial banks signed syndicated loan agreements with Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd. with a loan of 2.9 billion yuan for the projects of structural adjustment of synthetic ammonia raw materials and Co-production of 600,000 tons/year ethylene glycol, which is the largest project signed this time.

　　Reportedly, since last year, Yichang has actively promoted the implementation of ten strategic initiatives for green development in Yangtze River Economic Belt. Centering on the major strategic issues such as developing green industries, building green transportation corridors and green livable towns, and creating green pilot zones, Yichang has planned 53 major issues and 64 major projects with a total investment of 270 billion yuan. The purpose of this event is to strengthen the relationship between banks and enterprises, promote the integration between finance and strategy, industry and project for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in a wider scope and deeper level, and promote the high-quality development of Yangtze River Economic Belt.
