On May 14, the Municipal Logistics Development Center announced that Yichang Logistics Prosperity Index (LPI) was 59.67 in April, up 1.6 percentage points month on month, and 6.17 percentage points higher than that of the whole country (53.5 is the average for the whole country).

　　The whole city’s logistics prosperity index continues to rise, and the logistics operation shows a steady but rising development trend, specifically shown by the increase of total business volume, decrease of average inventory, obvious destocking and stable capital environment, etc. Judging from the later trend, the expected index of the whole city’s logistics business activities is 53.06, indicating that the future logistics operation will maintain a steady growth trend.
