From May 15th to 19th, the 3rd China International Tea Expo, one of the key branding activities of this year organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, was held in Hangzhou. 5 excellent tea enterprises led by Yichang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, participated in the expo as the representatives of Hubei industry. During the expo, the exhibited tea products of Yichang attracted the visitors and traders with its local-featured packaging and high quality, for which the enterprises achieved on-site transactions of CNY0.98 million and signing of sales intention agreements valued at CNY 3.84 million.
It is learned that in recent years Yichang has been working on building a major tea production district, which is expected to enjoy a world-wide fame as a first-class production base in China and No.1 in Hubei Province, by speeding up the development of tea industry, highlighting the achievements of fostering tea brands, promoting the construction of standardized bases and flourishing the combined development of tea and tourism industries.
