On May 28, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission again issued a policy notice on electricity price adjustment. Since July 1 this year, the price of electricity for general industry and commerce and other electricity sales in the whole city has been cut by 0.067 yuan/KWH. This is the second time this year that the price of electricity has been reduced, which will save enterprises more than 110 million yuan in electricity costs.

　　In mid-to-late May, the State Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued an notice on reducing the general industrial and commercial electricity price successively, and decided to merge the general industrial and commercial and other electricity consumption categories and large industrial electricity consumption categories into industrial and commercial and other electricity consumption categories in accordance with the requirements of orderly promotion of electricity price classification reform, and implemented the single-price system and two-part electricity price system respectively. Since this year, our city has reduced the general industrial and commercial electricity price twice, with a total reduction of 0.0923 yuan/KWH, a cumulative decrease of 11.79%.
