On June 23, the journalist found that a public notice with the title Detailed Regulatory Planning Adjustment of Block 06 of Development Road Area in Yiling District, Yichang City on the government website of Yiling District reads that the planning adjustment scope of Yiling District Development Road Area is the Block 06, which is enclosed by Development Road, Dongfang Road, Dongcheng No.1 Road and Zhongxing Road. The intersection of Development Road and Dongfang Road is planned as a district-level commercial center, with finance and business offices as its main functions, and it is to be built into a headquarter economy park.

　　It’s learned that the Development Road starts from Chengdong Road in Yichang High-tech Zone and ends at Huangjinka Turntable in Yiling District, with a full length of 10.8km. Its section from Chengdong Road to Xiazhou Road is a dual four-lane road and Xiazhou Road to Yixing Road is a dual six-lane road. The road is the main traffic arteries connecting Yiling District and Yichang Central City, but far from meeting the growing traffic pressure with the development of the city.

　　Located in Yiling District, the designed section of the road (between Flagstone-paving Road and Yixing Road) starts from Tangjiawan Road in the south and extends to Yixing Road in the north, with a full length of about 5.78km. And it’s planned as an urban trunk road, 60m wide with dual eight lanes.

　　According to the plan, there will also be one overpass at each of its intersection with Dongfang Road, the Convention Center and Meiziya Road, with a reservation of conditions for setting up long-term rail transit and utility tunnels, and with consideration of a traffic relief plan during the construction.
