With the summer transport season of Chinese civil aviation in 2019 officially starting on July 1, Yichang Sanxia Airport will open an international airline from Yichang to Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia on July 19.

　　The airline served by Lanmei Airlines with A319 aircraft on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday is the second newly added international airline after the airline to Da Nang opened by Yichang Sanxia Airport this year. The incoming flight takes off from Sihanoukville Port at 12:10 and arrives at Yichang at 17:10，and the outgoing flight takes off from Yichang at 18:10 and arrives at Sihanoukville Port 20:50. At the same time, the international airlines from Yichang to Yazhuang, Bangkok and Da Nang will continue during this summer transport season. Up to now, the airport has air links with 41 domestic and foreign cities, with 62 service airlines. This summer, the airport will carry out 632 flights every week, with a passenger volume increasing by more than 10% year on year.

　　In addition, it’s learned from the Sanxia Airport that the motorway and national highway between Yichang city and Xiaoting are undergoing large-scale reconstruction recently. The roads are congested and the traffic time is expected to be 30-60 minutes longer than before.

　　The deadline for check-in formalities at Yichang Sanxia Airport is 40 minutes before the plane takes off. Passengers from Yichang to Sihanoukville Port are advised to be timely informed about the traffic before departure, arrange their itinerary in advance, and reserve sufficient time for check-in.
