The reporter learned that three public toilets are open to the public since July 9: Zhangjiawan Public Toilet at the junction of Chengdong Avenue of Wujiagang District and Dongyan Road, Lijiawu Public Toilet opposite No. 30 Middle School on Songlin Road, and Baiyang Road Public Toilet opposite Yangjingyuan Community on Baiyang Road, filling the no-public-toilet gap in the surrounding area sand alleviating the difficulty for surrounding residents.

　　It is understood that with a total investment of 2.16 million yuan, these three public toilets are designed and constructed according to the standard of first-class public toilet. Their construction area is about 120 square meters, each public toilet having about 20 latrine bored holes, and a barrier-free toilet, the third bathroom,a management room and a sanitation workers’ lounge.The main part of the public toilet adopts the sloping roof design, which is novel and beautiful. The new Chinese style decoration looks fresh and simple. It is like a small building in the woods. It provides a clean and comfortable toilet environment for the general public.
