On July 20th, with the completion of the last T-beam hoisting of the South Bank approach bridge, the Zigui Yangtze River Bridge was completed.

　　Zigui Yangtze River Bridge is a project group, including "five bridges and one tunnel", namely AK0 plus 180 Bridge, Zigui Yangtze River Bridge, Lingguantai Bridge, Xiangxi River Bridge, Wujiagou Tunnel, Sanchagou Bridge, with a total investment of 2.098 billion yuan. The bridge, formerly known as the Xiangxi Yangtze River Bridge, was renamed in February this year and is expected to open to the public on National Day this year.

　　At that time, it will end the history of people crossing the Yangtze River by steam, realize the connection of Shanghai-Chengdu and Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, integrating the three world-class scenic spots (Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Shennongjia and Wudang Mountain), which is of great significance to promote tourism in Western Hubei and the development of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.
